HAPPY 2005 PEEPS!

so how did u all celebrate e new yr? =)

dis couple of yrs has been more of a family. got kid liao ma. how can go ciong n countdown rite? i nv reallie like pushing n squeezing too. oni went once to a countdown my whole life. tats for e millenium yr - 2000. so scary. =S e crowd was so overwhelming.

anyways, dis yr we had yet another bbq again. tats e 3rd in 1 wk. haa haa... i'm swearing off bbq food till next christmas at least.

woke up late today. wanted to go out wif dar in morning but it was raining horrendously. hmmm, is tat hw u spell it. oh, watever. *bleahz* so end up we din n regan stayed hme too. intended to send him to childcare for 1/2 day so we can some couple moments. hee...

dar went to gym wif jianglin while i stayed home to look after e monster. suppose to nap but refuse to slp. jumping on e bed like a monkey. he tried to smoke me too.

ok, tats a 1st. cannot imagine he rack his brain for how long before coming up wif dis ingenius excuse. haa haa... but too bad i noe him better than he does. lolz...

got ready to go over mom's hse at abt 5+pm to go imm giant to buy sme food. tink cheese sausages, bacon... yum yum. =9...

a mini accident happened. ah di was suppose to drive us dwn. he loves driving. so though mom objected violently but i say let him drive lor. hee...

who noes dis chap started to drove off when ah mei was trying to get into e car. n her foot got rolled over by e car. all of us start panicking coz ah mei was screaming away. ah di realise wat happen, froze for a while before reversing e car. n it went over her foot YET again. so her foot got squashed twice. =P

she was crying, i was trying hard not to luff, mom was yelling how dumb ah di was not to check all passengers on board, ah b was shouting tat he wan e tv in e car on, jianglin was trying to c wat happen n dar was stunned. it was reallie all aboard except dad whom went jogging.

end up, ah mei went into e hse to rest her foot, ah di say wan to accompany her n c how her foot is, mom say she is too distressed to go. so all of us happily climbed onboard started getting out of e car again.

luckily there were just sme tire marks n bruises. so after ah di rubbed sme medicated oil on it, her tears stopped flowing n we were on our way again except mom whom is still distressed. haa...

stopped by bt timah to buy sme satay 1st though.

e only photo we took for e whole day. was at giant already. made regan sat in e trolley though he was yelling tat he wan to push e trolley. keke...

after buying all e food we need (we din buy alot coz mom got most of it already), we went to pay. goodness, e Qs r like damn long lor. at least 15 ppl in front for every counter n almost all counters r opened smemre.

i tink we reallie suay. went to Q at dis trainee Q whose action was damn slow. n she even disappeared for a while apparently to chk sme food prices. when it was our turn, she was so rude n claim tat one of our food has no price tag. actually i can do without tat item, but she was so rude can.

so off she go to find e price tag n she took 10 mins to do it. fr e counter to e place i took tat packet of food and back is only like 3 mins at most? den e rest of e ppl in e Q was getting restless.

we complained to e supervisor whom was at e counter beside us n he activated another staff to assist. dis new guy tat helped was so much faster lor. they shld just get e ger do smeting else man like packing food. reallie slow until can. i Q-ed for like 30 mins at least. when all e rest of e counters Q seems to b moving damn fast. =(

anyways, got hme n off to do each of our delegated duty. haha... ah di n jianglin started fire, ah mei n me processed food. dar was famished so he eat n watched over regan whom is oso eating his dinner.

den nxt door uncle, smelled us bbq-ing in our backyard, gave us 5 fishes to bbq lor. but its like quite yucky. he says just bbq e whole fish den can eat liao. but we din try. we bbq-ed 2 for him back though hes out partying as usual. he v happening one ok dis uncle. tink last time he ciong sparks one. nw mayb niteclub. auntie linda's philosophy (his wife) is tat as long as he brings money hme, she dun care wat he do outside. shes younger than him by 10 yrs. got 2 pri sch kids.

i like just sitting rd e pit n chatting n bbq-ing. such a lovely feeling. ah di n ah mei was like grumbling tat they so nice stay at hme when they cld haf went partying. *bleahz* i oso ma. got invited to joanna's hse for a mini party. i oso din go ok! hee...

so bbq-ed till like 11.30pm den started packing up. had sme leftover food so played sme card games to clear it. haha... so furnee can.

e games we played was e same ones as christmas eve. will describe e games there. =)

din reallie countdown. coz i was upstairs toking to dar whom is playing computer games. but in e face of e disaster tat juz happen, i tink nothing much to b happy abt actually. *sighs* so sad. when i was having good food, tink there r thousands tat r homeless, hungry n cold.

dad oso remind us to keep it low-key. even e radio din count dwn but observe 1 min of silence.

went hme after cleaning up.

my new yr resolution for 2005 is "TO BE PUNCTUAL". haha... remind me ok?
